Joshua 1:7-8
KJV—Only be thou strong and very courageous,
that thou mayest observe to do
according to all the law, which Moses my
servant commanded thee: turn not from it
to the right hand or to the left, that thou
mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
This book of the law shall not depart out
of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest
observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy
way prosperous, and then thou shalt have
good success.
NIV—Be strong and very courageous.
Be careful to obey all the law my servant
Moses gave you; do not turn from it to
the right or to the left, that you may be
successful wherever you go. Do not let
this Book of the Law depart from your
mouth; meditate on it day and night, so
that you may be careful to do everything
written in it. Then you will be prosperous
and successful.
Amp—Only you be strong, and very courageous,
that you may do according to
all the law, which Moses My servant commanded
you. Turn not from it to the right
hand or to the left, that you may prosper
wherever you go. This book of the law
shall not depart out of your mouth, but
you shall meditate on it day and night,
that you may observe and do according to
all that is written in it; for then you shall
make your way prosperous, and then you
shall deal wisely and have good success.

NKJV—Blessed is the man who fears
the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.
His descendants will be
mighty on earth; the generation of the
upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches
will be in his house, and his righteousness
endures forever.
Amp—Blessed—happy, fortunate [to be
envied]—is the man who fears (reveres
and worships) the Lord, who delights
greatly in His commandments. His [spiritual]
offspring shall be a mighty one upon
earth; the generation of the upright shall
be blessed. Prosperity and welfare are in
his house, and his righteousness endures
for ever.
